The balance sheet shows financial position at a point in time: Assets = Liabilities + Equity. In Odoo it's an interactive snapshot you can drill into.
Path: Accounting ← Reporting ← Balance Sheet
- Open Accounting ← Reporting ← Balance Sheet.
- Set the As of date — it's a point in time, not a range.
- Review the three sections: Assets, Liabilities, Equity.
- Click a group like Current Assets or Receivables to expand.
- Click an account amount to drill into its Journal Items.
- Enable Comparison against last year-end.
- Verify Total Assets = Liabilities + Equity.
- Click Export to PDF/Excel and pick the right Company.
